NO.1 Club drives significant paid marketing spend to their website. The existing site was not built to convert. TWD Studios redesigned the full website, design only with developer handoff, optimising every decision for membership conversion across a mobile-first, multilingual audience.

The Challenge

When you are spending serious money on Meta campaigns and Google ads, the website is the bottom of your funnel. It either converts or it does not. NO.1 Club had the traffic. The site was not built to receive it. Multiple competing calls to action, trust signals in the wrong places, a pricing section that created ambiguity, and a design that was not mobile-first despite the majority of traffic arriving on mobile. The brief was simple: conversion rate optimisation for a membership platform serving a diverse, multilingual audience.

What We Did

TWD Studios treated this as a conversion problem, not a design brief. Every decision, hierarchy, copy placement, CTA positioning, trust signal location, pricing layout, was evaluated against one question: does this help someone say yes? This is UI/UX consulting applied directly to funnel performance.
The design was led mobile-first, reflecting where the traffic actually arrives. Desktop was an adaptation. Given that the client's development team would build from the handoff file, design clarity and handoff completeness were treated as deliverables of equal weight to the visual design itself.

Conversion Architecture

Page structure built around a single conversion goal: membership sign-up. Value proposition and membership offer established above the fold. Single primary CTA reinforced at consistent intervals throughout the page. Trust signals, community size, expert credentials, testimonials, social proof, positioned at specific hesitation points, not decoratively. Pricing redesigned to remove ambiguity and reduce perceived risk. This is web design for startups and high-growth platforms built around outcomes.

Developer Handoff

Handoff treated as a primary deliverable. Organised Figma file structured for developer navigation. Full component library with variants, hover, active, and disabled states. Spacing tokens, column grids, breakpoint specs. Named type styles and colour variables as design tokens. Interaction annotations. Asset exports. Design QA support during the build.

Outcome

Website redesigned to serve the performance marketing funnel rather than undermine it. Every page section works toward a single conversion objective. Mobile experience leads design, aligned with actual traffic composition. Paid traffic now lands on a page built to convert it. The handoff quality enabled the client's Next.js team to build without design translation. This is what real conversion rate optimisation looks like when applied to a web design for startups context.
